FBT Guild The Festival Ballet Theatre Guild constitutes the backbone of volunteer support for Festival Ballet Theatre. Consisting of friends of the company , the guild is responsible for initiating and implementing fundraising programs, distributing marketing materials, and building public relations. It represents a vital link between the company and community support by organizing more than 100 volunteers for each performance. The members of the guild work closely with the Artistic Director in order to ensure the quality, continuity, and accessibility of services provided by Festival Ballet Theatre and to guarantee that the artistic and administrative staff has the support they need. They are a crucial element to Festival Ballet Theatre's survival and vitality.
Like most arts organizations, Festival Ballet Theatre aims to support itself through ticket sales and fundraisers; however, it is dependent on a number of donors to ensure its financial stability and broaden its cultural and artistic impact. As a non-profit organization, individual donors and corporate sponsors make up the very foundation of the company's existence. Some of our financial partners include Toyota Motor Sales, Disneyland, the City of Newport Beach, Arts Orange County, The Gillespie Foundation and Boeing Community Fund, among others. Southland Ballet Academy donates temporary rehearsal space to Festival Ballet Theatre. It is through the generous contributions of these individuals and corporations that Festival Ballet Theatre is able to continue to be an active artistic force in the community and bring you the finest in classical dance.
